MOTHER



When legends said ‘God is omnipresent’,
They were referring to you mother, (every child is gifted with you)
You are the only specie admirable to that extent,
And in the universe can be found none other,

Taking a lot of pains, you gave me birth,
Nurtured me, loved me, molded me,
Your unrelenting energies witnessed the earth,
For this whole of ‘mankind’ wants to thank thee,

Your happiness lies in mine,
Calling me recurrently just to confirm if I am fine,
Forcing me even at middle of night to dine,
My every experience with you is divine,

You know whom I like; you know what I like,
Ranging from the neighborhood girl to my bike (you know everything)
You protect me from dad, elder’s n foes,
You support me n my friends also share our woes,

What’s now the difference between you n GOD?
Perhaps it’s that, you are more ‘kind’,
Coz even after doing everything you give him all the creditttttt…..

They were complete strangers, but both loved winters, the cold, the serenity the playfulness of wind. That night every distant noise was audible to them. Very few trains had stopover there, with few passengers n even fewer shops the station was quiet. They both were waiting for their respective trains. THE ESSENCE (PART-1)

The dusk had reddened the sky, the magnificent view of the ghats kept him captivated again. In this solitude, in d midst of these forested ghats he felt contended. The mountains, the jungle, the clouds had been his companions for long now. The meandering clouds clearly suggested that it may rain anytime, monsoon would be back in the ghats. The fog was constantly changing its course, it won't settle, the winds won't allow it to. So did his past it wont allow him to settle, it still haunted him. Sitting on this cliff, savouring a cup of coffee alone, was his daily rite. After he had bought this land, life had taken a rather new course. He had used all his expertise and had tremendously worked hard to develop this resort, he had studied this part of geography meticulously.
